New Features for Intacct Administrators
Five Dimensions Selectable on Each Expense
Admins can visit the Features page to choose which dimensions users may select when entering new expenses. This includes support for the five standard dimensions, and allows users to select not only on the expense category, but the following: Project, Customer, Department, Class and Location.
Exporting to Cash Management and Creating Charge-Card Transactions
Most Intacct users manage credit card transactions one of two ways. The first is through AP, creating a bill in Intacct to debit the corresponding bank account. The second is through the Cash Management module with Charge-Card Transactions, which Tallie is now proud to support.
To set up the latter in Tallie, simply to go Integrations & Sync, click on Export Settings and set the Non-Reimbursable Expenses to Charge Card Transactions.
After selecting your export preferences, you may add your card and designate it as non-reimbursable. It can then be mapped to the appropriate Cash Management Account and corresponding charge card account in Intacct.
Upon export, go to Intacct’s Cash Management, then click on Charge-Card Transaction to see the list of charges.
Each expense item will be listed as a separate transaction. If itemized, any itemizations appear within the transaction.
Support for Custom Dimension Names
One of Intacct’s strengths is the flexibility it gives users, such as the ability to rename dimensions. Now, Tallie allows lists to be re-named to match the preferences of the accountant and their supported system.
To enable this feature, first go to Company Preferences, then Customize, and click Rename List. This will take you to the following menu, where you can rename both the singular and plural of each of the list names – keeping the expense submitters on the same page as the rest of the organization.
Mass Update for Expense Categories
Tallie’s Mass Update option (found in the Manage Lists area), allows you to apply your change(s) to multiple selected items at once. With this release, Mass Update can also be used for Expense Categories. This enhancement allows admins to make changes in active status or payment memo in one fell swoop.

As before, the Features page allows you to determine which expense data should be selectable or subject to certain rules. Now, you can preview how the expense tile will look to users.
Expanded and Improved Foreign Currencies
Tallie has expanded our foreign currency support to include the following:
• Georgian Lari (GEL)
• Czech Crown (CZK)
• Phillippine Peso (PHP)
• Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH)
• Polish sloty (PLN)
• Zambian Kwacha (ZMK)
The currency drop-down has also been replaced with a scroll bar to make it much easier to navigate to your desired type.

Merge Expenses in Approval and Export areas
Admins can review, check and approve expenses on both the Approval and Export pages. Now, Tallie’s merging capabilities have been expanded to allow admins to merge Unsubmitted expenses with those that have already been Submitted and/or Approved.
